Why This Exists

There’s a version of the church that looks very much like the one Jesus described — and a version that doesn’t. The Veil exists because those two versions have drifted far apart, and because that distance costs people something real. This isn’t a site built on anger. The people in the pews are not the problem — most of them are the most sincere people you’ll ever meet.

The problem is the system they’ve been handed, the version of church that has quietly swapped the gospel for something more manageable, more marketable, more comfortable. The Veil is an attempt to name that honestly, with love, not contempt. Sad love, maybe. If you’ve felt that too, you’re not alone. You’re just paying attention.
