Is there anything holy?

I have run across several ‘worship leaders’ in the church, if they dare call it a church, who like to drink, and drink publicly. I personally dont think it is any of my business what they like to do, whether wrong or right, in private, but to be on a stage and then post yourself on another stage, like Facebook, etc, or publicly at a concert or restaurant and be slamming brews like everyone else…..creates a slight or major, conflict of interest. One thing for sure, it has nothing to do with holiness or even appearing to even care about holiness. Why is it so important to appear to be like everyone else when , according to the bible if you believe it, you are supposed to be “different.” It also seems churches and church members stand by this. Meanwhile, I am wondering, if up in heaven there is a God like they say to believe, what would he be saying about this or thinking about this, if indeed we believe he is there watching us?

I personally do believe he is there seeing and watching, however, this post poses a question. Does God care about the “appearance” of evil that His word talks about ? Or, is that scripture rubbish? Seems to think the modern church thinks of it as rubbish.

Just a thought for the day.
